This Fall’s Alpha lineup comes with much excitement and enthusiasm. First, instead of offering one course, we’re offering two – our traditional evening Alpha program along with a morning Alpha course ideal for stay-at-home moms and those with more flexible schedules.

Secondly, and perhaps even more exciting, is our new Alpha format. This year, for the first time, St. Peter’s will be offering Alpha LIVE! That means each teaching will be presented live from our St. Peter’s leadership team.

Evening Alpha Course
Starts: 9/27-Tuesday
Ends: 11/29-Tuesday
(No class on 11/18)
6:30-8:30 p.m.
St. Peter’s Church
Cost: FREE
This 2 hour evening course includes dinner, live teachings, childcare and breakout sessions.

Morning  Alpha Course
Starts: 9/28-Wednesday
Ends: 11/30-Wednesday
(No class on 11/19)
9-11 a.m.
St. Peter’s Church
Cost: FREE
This 2 hour morning course includes light breakfast, live teachings, childcare and breakout sessions.

It Takes a Village

As parents, it is our purpose, our “calling” to raise healthy, balanced, well-intentioned individuals. But what about raising them in the Christian faith? Is an hour or so a week enough to build a foundation in Christ? Of course not. We need to do more. And one way that we can raise our children to love and serve the Lord is by example.

Jesus said, “I am among you as one who serves.” He was born with a servant’s heart. What does your heart look like? Are you ready to serve even the smallest in our community? Are you willing to nurture the seed of faith and watch it grow in another?

If that is your calling, then you need to act upon it. St. Peter’s is on the verge of something great, and it all starts with those first steps as Christians. Imagine a place where those first steps are taken by our children!
